Guest: Joe Rajkovacz, director of government affairs, Western States Trucking Association

Being an owner-operator trucker has always been challenging. However, a recent court decision involving a California law, legislation in Congress and a change in a significant Labor Department regulation could make it more difficult, if not impossible to be one.

Listen to this new episode of the “Eyes on the Road” trucking podcast as host Evan Lockridge talks with Joe Rajkovacz of the Western States Trucking Association about these issues. In an interview Rajkovacz says he is “very concerned” about the future for owner-operators. They also discuss why this is happening and how to possibly prepare for the future.
