The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) has launched its 2018 Top Industry Issues Survey.

The not-for-profit research organization is asking trucking industry stakeholders to rank the top issues of concern for the industry along with appropriate strategies for addressing each issue.

The survey is in its 14th year and participation by trucking stakeholders has grown each year. You can read about last year’s survey results which showed the driver shortage was the top industry concern.

“ATRI’s research provides a chance for thousands of trucking industry professionals, from drivers to executives, to weigh in on the most important topics that affect trucking and collectively decide on the best strategies for addressing each,” said ATA Chairman Dave Manning, president of the trucking fleet TCW Inc., based in Nashville, Tennessee. “Completing this survey only takes a few minutes, but its impact can be immeasurable.”

The results of the 2018 survey will be released at the annual American Trucking Associations’ Management Conference and Exhibition, to be held Oct. 27-31 in Austin, Texas.

Industry stakeholders are encouraged to complete the survey on the ATRI website.
