BlogCritical Deadline: UCR Enforcement Begins on Jan. 1, 2021
Unified Carrier Registration enforcement will begin on Jan. 1, 2021. If you are a carrier that operates cargo-carrying commercial vehicles that cross state and/or international lines, you must have a UCR. UCR is federally mandated. If your fleet is required to register for the 2021 UCR, you MUST do so by Dec. 31, 2020. There has been no indication that this deadline will be extended.
