Guest: Warren Hoemann, Industry Expert
There is a recently started program from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration that allows trucking companies and truck drivers to remove crashes that were in no way their fault from federal safety records.
Host Evan Lockridge speaks with Warren Hoemann, a former FMCSA deputy administrator and a past senior vice president with the American Trucking Associations about this demonstration program in the second installment of the two-part series “It’s Not My Fault.”
They also discuss how people in trucking can use the program for their benefit, following an outcry from the trucking industry that non-preventable crashes were unfairly causing trucking safety records to be less than accurate.
Eyes on the Road is the official podcast from PrePass, the premier weigh station bypass service for the trucking industry in North America.
