The PrePass App enables drivers to verify the safety, credentials, and weight of a commercial vehicle with upcoming weigh stations. You can pair your dezl OTR device with the Garmin Drive App and the PrePass App to receive upcoming weigh station notifications on your dezl OTR device.
- You must have an active PrePass account subscription to use this feature
- The Garmin Drive App sends notifications from the PrePass App to the dezl OTR device
- Smart Notifications must be enabled in the Garmin Drive App
- dezl OTR500 and dezl OTR700: Smart Notifications on an Automotive Device
- dezl OTR800 and dezl OTR1000: Smart Notifications on an Automotive Device
- This feature is only available in the United States
- A dezl OTR software update may be required for the following devices
- dezl OTR700: Wireless Map and Software Update Instructions

To Access PrePass Notifications
1. Ensure the dezl OTR device is paired with the Garmin Drive App.
- Go to the Support Center and enter your product name or serial number
- Once you select your device, click Other and search for “Pairing the Garmin Drive App” for instructions
2. Ensure the PrePass App is installed on the phone and signed in.
3. Touch the Map Tools icon.
4. Touch PrePass.
5. PrePass notifications will appear when approaching PrePass weigh station locations.
