New York E-Z Pass service center downtime: April 9-15, 2025.
The New York E-ZPass service center will be upgrading their system software in April. As a result, there will be a service downtime window planned from April 9-15, 2025.
Please note that the dates of the service downtime window may be subject to change and PrePass will keep you updated with any changes that may impact your business. This is work being done by New York E-ZPass, not PrePass.
PrePass customers using E-ZPass will be impacted by this agency outage with regards to toll transaction postings. The impact will be based on customer enrollments for all E-ZPass users and NY Devices only, where the ID begins with 004:
All E-ZPass users
No toll transactions will post for the following New York agencies during the downtime window of April 9 to 15, 2025:
•MTA Bridges & Tunnels (MTAB&T)
•Nassau County Bridge Authority (NCBA)
•New York State Bridge Authority (NYSBA)
•New York State Thruway Authority (NYSTA)
•Niagara Falls Bridge Commission (NFBC)
•Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ)
•The Peace Bridge (PBA)
•Thousand Islands Bridge Authority (TIBA).
NY Devices ONLY (Your E-ZPass is a NY Device if the ID begins with 004)
•No transactions will post for ANY E-ZPass agency during the downtime window of April 9 to 15, 2025.
Transactions that occur during the downtime window will post to customer’s accounts after April 15, 2025. Due to the large volume of backlog transactions, this may take several days for all transactions to fully post.
