California Proposes Zero-Emission Trucks

The California Air Resources Board recently announced its proposed Advanced Clean Fleets program. A hallmark of the plan mandates motor carriers to purchase zero-emission trucks when replacing vehicles. For some fleets, that requirement could kick in as early as 2024. In the meantime, several states are considering their own tougher emissions rules while the federal government has released its own new truck emissions regulations.
