The American Trucking Association’s COVID-19 Update Hub provides members and industry stakeholders with timely, fact-based information to answer frequently asked questions and address common challenges that have arisen from the pandemic and some aspects of the national response. ATA will regularly update the hub with verified information and guidance provided by government officials and other stakeholders involved in response efforts. You will also find information on emergency declarations from states.

TCA sets up resources page with daily updates via email

The Truckload Carriers Association has established a COVID-19 resources page on its website with links to organization and company updates. TCA will be sending daily updates via email, with the most pertinent updates focused on the truckload industry.

The Owner Operator Independent Drivers Association and its Land Line Media are compiling the latest updates from federal and state governments on the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, including regulatory, health and parking notifications by state. OOIDA will regularly update the information as new reports or announcements are made. This includes COVID-19 state and provincial notices.

FMCSA’s emergency declarations, waivers, exemptions and permits website

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is coordinating with states that have  issued official emergency declarations and also publishes links to FMCSA emergency declarations on its website. The agency also has a new webpage where you can find, all in one place, the latest trucking information, declarations and resources in response to the coronavirus outbreak.

DOT Guidance on Compliance with DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Regulations

This guidance document provides clarity to DOT-regulated employers, employees and service agents on conducting DOT drug-and-alcohol testing  while responding to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).  Carriers are required to comply with the DOT and modal drug and alcohol testing programs during this period of national emergency.
